Hey guys! Here I am again, it’s been a while I know but that’s the way thing are nowdays. Other things around family to prioritize first, then the blogging. It had been a while since I went out at night for fun. It has mostly been meeting up for coffee or lunching together with my cousins. Such things but no going out late, I had a difficult time leaving the baby to anyone to babysit, but 2 days ago me and my gals were having breakfast together when we decided to leave the kids at home and head out for fun. And where better to go out and party than the Capital city of Kosovo, Prishtina!! The place to have fun for all young people. The average age of the population is only 35, so you can imagine that there is a lot of life during night time. Anyways I wore a glittery tanktop with a white blazer and blue jeans, of course some high heels too to go with that. My hair was done that day too, I did some highlights and brightened up my hair a little. What do you think of it? There was quite some drinking, dancing and live music with one of Kosovos most famous and desired singers Sinan Vllasaliu. Here are some photos of us from that night it sure was a night to remember. Let me know what you think! Kisses Besa 😘
Hi everyone!! Hope you are all fine, I know it`s been a while since we kept you posted but it`s just been to much going on lately on my side at least, that sitting down and writing on the blog has not been on my most priority list. Especially now when the baby boy is here it feels like all I do during the whole day is revolving around the kids. I must say being a mom isn`t an easy game. But at the end it`s all worth it. I just have to be stroooong hehe. There is another thing that`s happened too, we moved, again 🙂 . Not to long from Albania though, we moved to my birth country Kosovo. So we are still on Albanian land. I haven`t lived here since I was just a kid in year 1992 before we moved to Sweden. I feel excited, here is where all my relatives live, aunts, uncles, cousins, old friends and many more. I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do with everyone. I will try to be more active around the blog, although I will not make any promises since I do have a very busy day… Here are some adorable pictures of our new addition Lirian who was born on January 5th.
Long time no seen! Sorry for being so slow with updating the blog lately, but it`s just it that I have not been up to it, it`s been a lot of time away from the computer and a lot Me time. I just take it easy and enjoy this time being pregnant by listening to my body and fulfill my needs. It is starting to get heavier with the belly now, there are a lot, stronger movements from the baby, it`s still feels amazing though. I`m 32 weeks pregnant now so there are still a few weeks left but I`m doing fine… There is a good news I received recently, and that is that my brother and Mirlinda are coming over to visit with us on January 3rd!! We are all so excited. Hopefully the baby will come then, it`s due Jan. 7th. They are planning to stay here just for a week though and a week in Kosovo. But hey it`s better than not coming at all, right? OK, I`ll leave you with an inspirational picture to look at for the fall wear By Rachel-Zoe for now, and I say; – Until next time my friends..take care!! 🙂
Morning wonderful people! Here we are back home from a trip to Kosovo where we had a family get-together just for fun. Yesterday driving back we had the most amazing view I have ever experienced, and I have experienced a lot of them believe me, well most of you have seen most of them as I have blogged about them and showed pictures. This was while driving along Kukes mountains, it was dark, cloudy and rainy except for this little what you could call a “space” in the sky where sunlight peeked down giving these rays of light which spread out like spotlights. It was amazing, the iphone camera doesn’t do it justice but it was the best that I could do considering the circumstances. See for your self and enjoy!
Good Morning everyone! This Summer has been great, and long. Maybe a little to long actually. Our Summer started at the end of May you could say. In June we were in Sweden for 3 weeks, after that there has been at least 10 trips to-and-back from Kosovo starting July- Now. Those trips usually take 3 hours to get there and 3 hours back. But i`ts been because of fun reasons that we took those trips. Seeing family members, relatives, going to weddings, waiting for my parents to come from Sweden and so on, and so on. It`s been like a week there and a week here. Back and forth the whole time. But it was by choice of course not by force or anything like that. It`s been great, really as I mentioned it spending time with people you love has made all those hours of driving worth it. The time in the car is kind of our own family time together. Now starts the what you could call “the real life”. Today especially is a big day because our kids start kindergarten and 3rd grade. A very fun day for mommy, especially!! I guess for the kids too hehe, I`m sure 😉 . I`ts going to be nice getting back to the routines. Another year here it comes!! 🙂
So the pictures are endless, but I can at least give you a quick review so you get an idea of the fun we`ve had.
Peace & Love everyone for now!
Hi guys! I wanted to post some pictures from Kosovo which I took during our recent stay there. The countryside is one of my favorite places to spend quiet, and relaxing time with the kids. Not just because of the fact that there is so much to see and eat over there, but because of the friendly and welcoming relatives/people that live there. Summertime means growing time, on the ground and on the trees that we can enjoy. From watermelons, corn, cucumbers, peaches, plums, apples, pears, mulberries, and many other healthy things. All these things grow fresh on our grounds where I grew up. The kids love to pick and eat all these things, me too of course. Especially now when I am pregnant. The Doctor told me that the baby is growing better than expected, I said it must be all the delicious fruits that I am eating. Anyways here are some pictures from the amazing and peaceful place that I like to visit every now and then. Hope you can see the beauty that I see there!
Stacking up for winter.
Delicious green, sour apples.
The other house where my uncle lived in before the war. It`s not livable anymore.
The house post war casualties, there is a bunch of grape branches embracing it now. The grapes are eatable, but the house unlivable!
See the kids picking mull-berries in the far background??
Here they are on, by and about to climb on the mulberry tree. My favorite berries of all!! Ever tried them before??? Here is how they look like.
So what do you think, I took you through a little history of mine through some beautiful pictures. I hope you liked them.
Hi guys! Hope everyone are doing fine, I have been away for some time. Just to spend time with relatives in Kosovo, and wait for my parents to arrive. Now I`m back home again just to take it easy for a few days and then go back again as we have two wedding parties to go to. I promised you guys to post pictures from the sunsets in Vlore, when we were there so here they are.
Beautiful right? See you soon again!
Here are more beautiful pictures from Kosovo. We had to go and visit my favorite city in Kosovo, Prizeren which I love so much. With those mountains surrounding the city, the old castle on top of it, the river running through the city, and all those old buildings, amazing cafes and people. After that we had to stop on our way back home at the beautiful Kukes for late lunch or early dinner whatever you want to call it. The restaurant was just by the lake which is surrounded by beautiful green mountains. The most peaceful place, just amazing scenery. Here it is.
This is Prizeren, the city in Kosovo.
These are pictures of Kukes, Albania.
Hi guys!! Remember me? Yes I know it`s been a while, but I told you I was planning to go to Kosovo over the week, and spend time with my parents and relatives. It has been a wonderful week catching up on good old times and just remembering where I grew up. A lot of memories came back to me when I was a child and my childhood in Kosovo. I feels like it was 100 years ago that I was a child hehe. Here are some photos of the wonderful green environment I have been in this last week. I sure needed it. Taking some time of from the usual everyday here in Tirana. 🙂 Hope you like them!
Grandma and Erand!
My uncles place where they go to enjoy the green fields, that the kids love to play in.
Their Beautiful Cabin. The best place to be in this time of year. Check out the pear trees in front.
There are so many more pictures I took, I`ll post more later.
