Morning wonderful people! Here we are back home from a trip to Kosovo where we had a family get-together just for fun. Yesterday driving back we had the most amazing view I have ever experienced, and I have experienced a lot of them believe me, well most of you have seen most of them as I have blogged about them and showed pictures. This was while driving along Kukes mountains, it was dark, cloudy and rainy except for this little what you could call a “space” in the sky where sunlight peeked down giving these rays of light which spread out like spotlights. It was amazing, the iphone camera doesn’t do it justice but it was the best that I could do considering the circumstances. See for your self and enjoy!
Hi guys! Hope everyone are doing fine. I wanted to post some photos that I took of something that I think is very interesting and cute. These are pictures of a cigarette filter that my husband actually smoked. I happened to notice something very particular about it. There is a smiley face showing on it.. I took it to be a good sign for something. Even in the midst of the things we dislike (in this case the gross filters) there can be beauty found. In this case the smiling “guy”. It all depends how you decide to see things. In a bad or good way. This is the good way I decided to see.
So remember, beauty can be found even on the most unexpected places, you just have to be able to notice it.
Hi guys! It`s been way to long since my sister Vlora went on her honeymoon. On September 20th which is the date when she is returning it will be 1 MONTH!! They are in the beautiful Venezuela, enjoying beaches, and seeing a lot of amazing places and attraction there as she is telling. We are used to our daily talks, her phone broke and now lately the only times we talk are occasionally when she has her Ipad charged from her hotel room. She obviously doesn`t have time for anyone else right now but her husband. I get her though, but it seems like we have o much to catch up on when she comes back. Hurry back home now sister. In mean time I`ll leave you with a picture of us two together…
Hi guys! I wanted to post some pictures from Kosovo which I took during our recent stay there. The countryside is one of my favorite places to spend quiet, and relaxing time with the kids. Not just because of the fact that there is so much to see and eat over there, but because of the friendly and welcoming relatives/people that live there. Summertime means growing time, on the ground and on the trees that we can enjoy. From watermelons, corn, cucumbers, peaches, plums, apples, pears, mulberries, and many other healthy things. All these things grow fresh on our grounds where I grew up. The kids love to pick and eat all these things, me too of course. Especially now when I am pregnant. The Doctor told me that the baby is growing better than expected, I said it must be all the delicious fruits that I am eating. Anyways here are some pictures from the amazing and peaceful place that I like to visit every now and then. Hope you can see the beauty that I see there!
Stacking up for winter.
Delicious green, sour apples.
The other house where my uncle lived in before the war. It`s not livable anymore.
The house post war casualties, there is a bunch of grape branches embracing it now. The grapes are eatable, but the house unlivable!
See the kids picking mull-berries in the far background??
Here they are on, by and about to climb on the mulberry tree. My favorite berries of all!! Ever tried them before??? Here is how they look like.
So what do you think, I took you through a little history of mine through some beautiful pictures. I hope you liked them.
Hi guys! Here are more pictures of our Weekend trip to Vlore a while ago!
Every time I stepped into that clear blue water I just never wanted to get out. It has just that perfect temperature to cool you off when you want to escape from the hot sun.
It was a great mini vacation. I guess we are blessed that we live so close to the coast which gives us the opportunity to explore many of the hidden and untouched places here by the Albanian coast. Every Weekend we`ll have a new place to go to. My parents are coming in less than two weeks, to vacationing here in the Albanian coast. That gives us another reason to go visit them there and explore another new place!
There are more to come, of the sunsets!
